Dandenong Day Nursery Inc
Dandenong Day Nursery Inc is a community based not for profit children’s service offering funded 3 and 4 year old kindergarten, long day care and Family Day Care. Our centre is open from 7.00am – 6.00pm Monday to Friday and is licensed for 54 children to attend each day. This allows for smaller groups of children within each learning environment .
Our service has been operating since 1976 and is managed by a voluntary Committee of Management which include;

Dandenong Day Nursery values the importance of the “Early Years Early Framework” for Australia. Educators and staff recognize that the fundamental aspect of the framework is the view that children’s lives can be characterized by “Being, Belonging and Becoming”.
From birth children are connected to family, community, culture and place. Children’s earliest development and learning takes place through these relationships, particularly within families, who are the children’s first and most influential educators.
We are inclusive of families, children and culture. Our early childhood staff will ensure that the interests, abilities and culture of every child and family are understood and valued.
We have been attending this centre for the last three years and truly blessed to be part of the Dandenong Nursery family. I came to the centre as an anxious first- time mum worried about leaving my son at the care of others but sending my kids to the Dandy Nursery I feel like I am leaving them at a family home where they feel loved and are cared for. The educators tailor the activities according to the kids interests and needs, they treat the kids as their own and develop an incredible bond. As a mum there is nothing more I would ask for.

Teachers are amazing and go over and beyond! I have never met teachers who are so caring, patient and genuine. They make all the kids and parents feel so special and loved. No matter how many issues they deal with throughout the day, they always have a smile on their faces and are happy to listen and answer all your questions no matter what they may be. My boys come home updating me on all the fun educational activities they have done throughout the day as well as being updated on Story park all the time 🙂 When your kids aren't with you, there is no better feeling than knowing they are happy, cared for and loved.

I'm so happy we found your centre a few years back and so glad we still have a couple of years to enjoy with you before my boys move onto Primary school
